Ever since touring Zion National Park in Southern Utah last March, I’ve been itching to see more of America’s National Parks. I think especially lately, being so far from home, I’m lusting to explore some of those beautiful places even more than usual. Yosemite, Sequoia, Redwoods, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone… the list goes on.
In the theme of these travel dreams, I’m loving this National Park Print from Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. It reminds me of the pamphlets and old maps you can find at Ranger Stations. And the fact that it says EXPLORERS GUIDE makes my heart sing. Its simple earth tone design with wood texture and trees as map markers is clean and informative. Wouldn’t this look great in an office or library?
I’m a big fan of incorporating maps into decor, and I love how specific this one is. You can find this print and lots of other great art and home accessories (including more maps) at their site here.
And now I’m off to start making some road trip plans for summer 2014… Yosemite here we come!!
