I thought I knew what Arizona was all about – cactuses, rough mountain peaks, and wide plains of desert… but it’s so much more than that.
When we traveled from San Diego to Quartzsite, AZ in November, we made a huge loop of Northwestern Arizona and got a taste of the state’s variety. Pine forests, river valleys full of Cottonwood trees, slot canyons in orange sandstone, immense canyon views, high desert mountains and tiny mining towns, and miles of smooth highway curving through it all.
We brought the GoPro again to try our best at video documenting the journey!
